With over thirty years of experience in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, Guangli Xu Lic. Ac., has helped many couples as they cope with the physical and emotional effects of infertility, many becoming pregnant and delivering full term healthy babies. In 1972, he studied TCM under Dr. Xiewen Liu’s guidance as an apprentice in Beijing, China for three years, and then worked at Beijing Denshike Hospital as a TCM Physician. In addition to his distinguished work in TCM, Guangli Xu attended Beijing Medical College to study western medicine where he earned his M.D. degree in 1982, practicing both western and TCM in China.
Guangli Xu established his own clinic in Boston in 1996, and is a licensed acupuncturist in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, certified acupuncturist in the National Commission for the Certification for Acupuncturist and Oriental Medicine. He is a board member in Oriental Traditional Medical Association in Boston. He taught TCM in Boston Shiatsu School. As an instructor, he gave lectures in the local community and taught TCM classes in Boston Adult Education programs. In 2001, he joined the Commonwealth Medical Group, affiliating the Boston Medical Center, as a staff acupuncturist.
